Jasmin Leete Updated on 21st July 2023 Cybersecurity Researcher

The gaming world is abuzz with excitement for the League of Legends World Championship. This event, being held in Europe from now until November 10, completes this year's League of Legends (LoL) esports season.

Organized by Riot Games, this tournament awards the winning team with the coveted Summoner's Cup. This immortalizes them within the game with a team game skin and endows them with the largest chunk of the most lucrative monetary prize pool ever offered in professional League of Legends esports.

If you're hoping to watch the tournament, it's available to stream live with multiple language commentary free on the Riot Games official LoL website or its Twitch channel. Unfortunately, it's not available in all countries, as the Riot Games website and Twitch are restricted in some locations.

Don't rage quit though–you can still watch the 2019 League of Legends Worlds from anywhere, and all you need is a VPN!

Keep reading to find out what you need to watch the 2019 League of Legends World Championship.

How to Watch the 2019 League of Legends Worlds on the Riot Games Website or Twitch

  1. Choose a VPN that has great streaming speeds and stability. I suggest ExpressVPN as it's ideal for streaming and offers a great price.
  2. Download and install the VPN software of your choice (or app, if you have a tablet or streaming TV device).
  3. Connect to a server that allows you to stream Riot Games videos. I recommend a US server to watch the 2019 League of Legends Worlds.
  4. Head to the Riot Games official LoL website to watch LoL for free. You can also stream it from the Riot Games Twitch channel.
  5. Awesome! Now you can watch League of Legends Worlds 2019 from wherever you are!

About League of Legends World Championship Stages

After several exciting events during the 2019 League of Legends esports season, the League of Legends Worlds 2019 event is the cherry on top. The championship event started in Berlin, Germany on October 2, and the final stage concludes in Paris, France on November 10.

The 24 teams qualified for this tournament after they placed well in the regional circuits that were held across the world. Of these, regions that showed consistent strength sent their teams through to the Group Stage of the tournament.

Why You Need a VPN to Watch the 2019 League of Legends Worlds

Whether you're into G2 Esports or FunPlus Phoenix, you can only show your support if you can watch this event.

There are several countries where censorship prevents its citizens from accessing particular content online. This may be due to political reasons or copyright issues, but whatever it is, if you’re in a country that doesn’t support Twitch, YouTube, or any other organization that streams LoL Worlds live, you'll miss out!

I can help you stream the 2019 League of Legends World Championship live from anywhere in the world. All you need is a VPN to give you the ability to circumvent geoblocking software.

A VPN masks your true IP address and reroutes your connection through servers in a different country. By tricking censor software into believing you’re in a different country, you can access content on the internet as though you're in another location!

If you opt for one of the below VPNs, it means you’ll be able to access League of Legends Worlds 2019 live from wherever you are safely, smoothly, and quickly.

That’s Not All a VPN Can Do

Apart from allowing you to beat censorship restrictions, a VPN can do so much more, such as keep you safe, help you access other geoblocked content, and even improve your speed!

If you use a premium VPN, it keeps you safe online by encrypting your data and masking your IP address. This means nobody sees what you do online and they can't access any of your data.

Combine your VPN with quality antivirus software and you’ll have the ultimate defense against cybercriminals or anyone trying to see your data. This is great news when you're browsing, downloading, banking, shopping, streaming, or doing anything else that you want to keep private.

Using a VPN may even make your connection speed faster! It does this by rerouting your internet connection through a server that's of better quality or less congested than your internet service provider (ISP). This is a great benefit when you're gaming or streaming, as it gives you a speedy and buffer-free connection.
